Calculated Chaos

Know where every piece is. Know what it really earned.

Calculated Chaos runs your secondhand resale business from your phone: a product code on every piece, labels and boxes that show where it is, listings from your photos, and the real profit when it sells.

Works in any modern browser and installs to your iPhone home screen. Access is approved by hand.

The Home screen with sample data: in stock, sold and profit for the month, and the items that need attention

Sample data. Not a real business.

Follow one piece from the shelf to the profit.

Home shows what needs you today. Catalog finds the piece and its box. Stock makes the pick list for a sale. Finances shows what the sale earned.

Home with sample numbers and the items that need attention

Built around the piece, from the shelf to the profit.

Most tools start with the listing. Calculated Chaos starts with the piece in your hands, so the listing, the label and the money all point back to it.

Every piece has a code, a box and a label.

Each piece gets its own product code and a label you print on the thermal printer, in black.

Boxes and wall markers show where the piece is. A stock transfer moves it, so the piece you are looking for is always where the app says it is.

Photos turn into listings, with less typing.

Shoot a batch of photos first, then catalog them when you have time.

The ✨ analysis reads the photos and drafts the title, description, category, color, size and a price. You check every field, then publish to eBay straight from the app.

Turn a sale screenshot into a pick list.

Upload the order screenshots from Poshmark, eBay, Mercari, Depop, Vinted or any other marketplace.

Each piece is matched by its product code or by its name, sorted by box, and printed as a checklist with a package number for each order. When it ships, mark it sold with the real price, fees and sales tax.

  • Pieces that do not match are shown with suggestions, never guessed
  • A piece already sold or still listed elsewhere gets a warning

Know your real profit, piece by piece.

Every sale keeps its cost, platform fees, shipping and other costs.

Finances shows the month, the sales and the pieces still in stock. Profit & Loss adds your business expenses and your mileage at the IRS rate, and one definition of profit is used on every screen and in every export.

  • Sales by month, with the missing costs flagged
  • Expenses by category, with a CSV export for your accountant

Bring the spreadsheet you already keep.

Import your inventory and past sales from Excel or CSV.

The app suggests which column is which and which words mean sold or new with tags. You see a preview with totals and possible duplicates before anything is saved, and you can undo a whole import.

  • Column names in English, Portuguese and Spanish
  • Up to 10,000 rows per file
